Breaking Into The Top 20

Stoke Celebrate

20 teams battle it out every year in the Premier League.

And next season Stoke could break into the top 20 all time Premier League table.

The Potters currently sit 23rd on the list, with a cumulative total of 380 points.

That tally leaves Stoke just 12 points behind 20th placed Sheffield Wednesday.

In fact, three of the four teams above Stoke will not pick up any Premier League points next season- West Brom the exception to Coventry, Wimbledon and The Owls.

With Tony Pulis’ Baggies currently boasting eight more points than Stoke- from 38 more matches, it must be added- Mark Hughes will want to overtake our rivals in the 2016-17 campaign.

For the record, Manchester United currently top the Premier League history table.

Their 1,952 points looks a little out of Stoke’s reach…
