Goals from Hannah Keryakoplis and Meg Bowyer secured a first league win of the season for Stoke’s Ladies.

Dominant throughout, Stoke missed a number of chances before Keryakoplis rifled a long-range effort in off the post.

The Welsh international was later named player of the match, but it was skipper Bowyer who sealed the win- her shot deceiving the goalkeeper who could only help the ball over the line.

The visitors made things nervy towards the end when Sophie Williams evaded the offside trap and clipped the ball beyond Tilly Hall.

But Stoke held strong to ensure a first three-point haul of the campaign.

After the game we caught up with the two goalscorers.
