Sensational Nathan Jones return

Nathan Jones could make a sensational return to take over the last nine games of the season.

Hold on to you axes & pitch forks, his return is for Luton Town.

Jones is reportedly in advanced talks with Luton about replacing his own successor Graeme Jones, who left the club last month in a bid to strip back costs.

The Telegraph claim Jones could be taking training as early as today as he prepares the Hatters for a fight to stave off the drop

Beswicks Sports agent Gary Mellor on how football is been affected by Covid-19

Gary Mellor talking on BBC Radio Stoke today about the effects of Covid-19 in football

There will be change, absolute change in the way Football is run all around the world
We at Beswicks sports have been taking calls from Argentina,Brazil & America. They are hurting even more than the English game.

In  English football we are fortunate that we have the TV contracts in place at the top of the game.

I think the game will change, unfortunately the public’s perception of footballers is guided by the top 5% of players.

The reality is their are a lot more players on £500-£600 a week rather than the £50k that gets banded about in the press. The narrative is to talk about that 5% at the very top, because that’s what people want to read about as those are the players on our tv screens.

Every industry is going to suffer, lots of people will be out of work because of this situation.

The EFL are reporting to be introducing a wage/salary cap into the 3 league, that will mean a lot of clubs will have to make very difficult decisions

Berahino could be coming back Stoke

Saido Berahino could be coming back to Stoke but as an opposing player with the Daily Mail saying a host of Championship sides are looking to take a gamble on him.

Berahino has said: “England is where I first fell in love with football so, yes, if the opportunity arose I would definitely consider it.

So far I’ve had a great time in Belgium, I’ve showed that I can adapt in a different league. I can only thank my team-mates and coach for believing in me.

I miss the atmosphere and the buzz before games that I grew up learning my trade. We take it for granted how passionate and amazing the fans make the game so beautiful.”

Zulte manager Francky Dury has his say on Saido

“I can only speak about my experience with Saido and this is for the moment very, very positive. I have nothing bad to say about his attitude. From my first contact with the player, it was love at first sight.

“The boy wants to play football. He has done nothing other than what all the other players have done. He comes on time, he eats his breakfast, he has lunch together with the boys.”

What kind of reception do you expect Berahino to get?
