Brentford 0-0 Stoke

Stoke for the meantime have lifted themselves off the bottom of the Championship with a 0-0 draw v Brentford

Stoke could of taken all three points if Peter Etebo had scored late on, Etebo had taken advantage of some poor defending by Brentford and was confronted with a one on one situation with Brentford goalkeeper David Raya, only for Raya to knock the abll away from Etebo’s foot as he tried to round him.

Neither side looked good enough to win the game with very few chances on goal, Christian Norgaard came closest to scoring in the first half but his header went over some how.

Stoke for the main looked content to just sit back and try and counter Brentford which in a defensive aspect Stoke looked comfortable.

Stoke were forced into a first half sub as Lima Lindsay had to be replaced by Danny Batth due to a head injury.

The draw meant Stoke have now not won any of their last 24 games in London and have not won any of their opening 8 games of the season, This is the worst start since 1989.

What are your thoughts on the game, and in the start of season so far?
