Training Boost For Stoke

Geoff Cameron and Phil Bardsley both trained at Clayton Wood today.

There were clouds of doubt over their participation for Monday’s match against Swansea, but both players are seemingly available for the televised match.

Cameron suffered a hyper-extension of his knee in the closing stages of last weekend’s win at Hull, whilst Bardsley tragically lost his grandfather in a motor accident during the week.

There was a further boost with the sight of Ibrahim Afellay returning to light training. The Dutch international last played in April, before suffering a knee ligament injury.
