Crystal Palace 4-1 Stoke City

Stoke slumped to another embarrassing defeat today.

The Potters lost 4-1 at Crystal Palace in a match that further highlighted our current problems.

Two goals from set pieces in the opening quarter of an hour made it a mountain too high to climb for Stoke- James Tomkins and Scott Dann getting on the scoresheet.

And Palace added further goals in the second half through James McArthur and Andros Townsend to make it three matches out of four that Stoke have conceded four times.

Marko Arnautovic scored with the final kick of the match to make the scoreline mildly better, but Stoke stay rooted to the bottom of the table.

Stoke City: Given, Johnson, Shawcross, Cameron, Martins-Indi, Allen, Whelan, Bojan (Diouf 68), Walters, Arnutovic, Bony. Unused: Grant, Pieters, Bardsley, Crouch, Adam, Imbula.
