Hull City 0-2 Stoke City

Stoke City have won 2-0 at Hull City.

A spectacular brace from Xherdan Shaqiri secured the points on Humberside and lifted Stoke out of the relegation zone.

Shaqiri’s first was special. The Swiss star cut inside and unleashed a belting left footed strike into the back of the net.

The goal was the least Stoke deserved, having dominated from the first minute.

And Shaqiri removed any doubt of a Stoke victory with another goal early in the second half . His free-kick dipped over the wall and into the back of the net.

There were more opportunities for Stoke to increase their total but a second 2-0 win in as many matches ensures a 100th victory in the Premier League.

Stoke City: Grant, Bardsley, Shawcross, Martins Indi, Pieters, Whelan, Cameron, Shaqiri, Allen, Arnautovic, Bony (Diouf 70). Unused: Given, Adam, Crouch, Walters, Muniesa, Bojan.
