Allen On Welsh Shortlist

Joe Allen Wales

Joe Allen is in the frame to be crowned Welsh Player of the Year.

It’s been a landmark year for Wales, who reached the semi-finals of Euro 2016.

Allen was vital during their run in France, being named in the team of the tournament ahead of the likes of Paul Pogba.

That form prompted Stoke to sign the midfielder and he’s had a huge impact since joining the club.

Allen is one of five players on the shortlist- Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey, Chris Gunter and Ashley Williams being the others.
