Keeping it Clean

Lee Grant has been a wonderful addition to the side in recent weeks.

The seventh keeper to play for Stoke in the Premier League era, Grant is hoping to secure a permanent move from January in Derby.

On recent showings, Stoke would be crazy not to snap him up.

He’s been a big improvement on other back-up keepers for Jack Butland and has now kept back-to-back clean sheets.

It’s the first time Stoke have managed that since December, when they shut out Manchester City and West Ham United.

And Grant will be confident of making it three on the bounce when he comes up against Swansea on Monday. The Swans have scored just eight goals int heir nine league matches to date, including a blank in their last match against Watford.

Having waited so long for his Premier League bow, Grant is grabbing the opportunity with both hands.
