Can Stoke cause as much pain to Gary Rowett, as his useless signings installed on Stoke
Stoke have worked hard to get rid of the millions of pounds worth of dross that Gary Rowett lumbered us with, hopefully Stoke will inflict a defeat on our previous manager worth the pain he’s caused us.
Stoke though will go to London having being rocked with the news the Crewe Cantona will be missing for upto 8 weeks having cracked a fibula in a challenge??? Against Bournemouth in midweek.
How have we faired in previous meetings.
Saturday’s fixture will be the 56th meeting between the two sides
Stoke wins 22
Draws 15
Millwall wins 18
Stoke haven’t won at The New Den since 2005
The last meeting
The last meeting was a 2-1 defeat for the Potters at the bet365 Stadium. Millwall’s Jed Wallace dictated most of the play that game and he’s still one to watch.
Our last game at The New Den was an entertaining 0-0 draw. Stoke battered the London outfit in the first half, but couldn’t keep that pressure up as Millwall made changes in the second to stem the flow
Form (last 4 games)
Stoke
Preston 1-1 Stoke
Stoke 1-0 WBA
Sheffield United 2-1 Stoke
Stoke 0-1 Bournemouth
Millwall
Millwall 1-0 Bristol City
Barnsley 0-1 Millwall
Millwall 0-2 Luton
Sheffield United 1-2 Millwall
Who’s the threat
As I’ve mentioned earlier, Jed Wallace is a major threat to Stoke and most of Millwalls decent play goes through him. Obviously Benik Afobe can’t play against his parent club so we haven’t got to worry about him.
How could Stoke set up for the game.
Stoke will have to makes changes with Powell & Clucas injured for the game. Hopefully with Tyrese Campbell back in action we could see us playing 2 Strikers upfront.
Does Bursik regain his number one spot is another question.

What is your score Prediction?
