Stoke play Swansea, so surely Sam Clucas will turn out a world class performance
Fresh from the good win in the FA Cup over Wigan, Stoke now entertain Swansea with fresh optimism in the stands, following the great debuts from Maja & Moore combined with Powell’s return to the team.
Sam Clucas didn’t start the FA Cup game but should be a starter against a side he revels in playing.
Swansea defended for their lives in their last outing against Blackburn, having dominated the ball without doing much with it in the first half, their whole game plan ended shortly after the break when right back come right centre half got sent off shortly after the break. It’s was backs to the wall from then on but managed to keep Blackburn from equalising their first half goal.
How have we faired in previous meetings.

Who’s the threat
Swansea are an all changed side to the one we are used to, many of the names are unknown to many. Joël Piroe has been involved in more goal this season than any other Swansea player but Jamie Paterson has the highest average rating.
How could Stoke set up for the game.
Stoke have no new injuries following Saturdays FA Cup game so we could see our strongest starting XI of the season so far. Cup tied Lewis Baker & Phil Jagielka should return to the side but that would mean a return two 3 at the back surely so it’s a hard call for O’Neill as too what side he plays.
