Bardsley Touch & Go

Phil Bardsley is a serious injury concern for Stoke’s trip to Hull.

The right back limped off against Sunderland last week and is hopeful of returning to training today.

His hamstring strain means he’s unlikely to start tomorrow, although Bardsley isn’t completely ruled out of the frame just yet.

He was replaced by Marc Muniesa last weekend, and the Spaniard performed well in an unnatural position.

Muniesa would be the most likely candidate to slot in at right back, which is a big pat on the back for Geoff Cameron’s recent work in the centre of midfield. It would be a big loss to see Cameron vacate his slot alongside Glenn Whelan at Hull.

Bardsley was only restored to the line-up against Sunderland after Glen Johnson was ruled out for a month with a thigh injury.
