Stoke Confirm Nani Interest

Stoke assistant manager Mark Bowen has confirmed the club’s interest in Nani.

The Portuguese winger has shone at this summer’s European Championships and is leaving current club Fenerbahce.

He is well known in this country for his eight year spell at Manchester United, where he played 230 matches but struggled with the tag of the ‘next Ronaldo’.

Now forging a partnership with Ronaldo in France, Nani’s Portugal are just one match away from the final of Euro 2016.

His performances have brought him to the attention of leading clubs in Europe, including Stoke.

Any potential arrival would raise further doubts over Marko Arnautovic’s long term future, although Stoke have been crying out for depth in the wide areas for quite some time and his signature would be a great statement from the club.
