What to expect versus Reading

Match Preview: Stoke versus Reading
Well Saturday 20th of June sees Stoke restart their campaign after the Covid-19 interruption, it sees Stoke pit Itself against the bloke who was instrumental in bringing Kevin Wimmer to Stoke. Pity Mark Bowen doesn’t want to take him to Reading to sort out their defence.

Reading were having a good season right up until Mark Bowen signed a new deal at the club, over night that great season halted as they have only won 4 of the 14 games since. It amazing how many times this happens.

Stoke have faced Reading 51 times before with the results been spread evenly between the two side

Stoke wins 18
Draws 16
Reading wins 17

Over the last ten games versus Reading though, Stoke have only won 2 games. Stoke are unbeaten in the last 6 games drawing the last 3

Form Prior to break

Stoke 5-1 Hull
Luton 1-1 Stoke
Blackburn 0-0 Stoke

Birmingham 1-3 Reading
Reading 2-0 Barnsley
Reading 0-3 Wigan

Player to watch out for

John Swift is having a great season & is one of the top rated midfielders in the league averaging a 7.2 rating via who scored for the season, Swift has 10 assists to his name with a great solid footballing name George Puskas scoring 9 goals this season. Don’t forget Charlie Adam is on Readings books and would love another chance to show he’s still got it

What do you expect from the game on Saturday 20th, last times result, a 5-1 win over Hull was vital but didn’t give us room to breath with the form of Wigan keeping us in the battle. Luckily Charlton & Hull have dropped like a Stone and seemed destined to join Barnsley in league one next season unless they can halt their slumps quickly
